people at a table, at a place like fridays, talking about what they would normally talk about. one person, who is seated in the middle, or a seat or two off of the middle, isnt saying anything. he is just drinking a pint of beer and watching/listening. he is just listening. he does not try to speak or say anything. while the people at the table are aware he is there, they do not try to include him in their conversation at all.
everyone at the table knows everyone, so this man is not a random stranger sitting at their table, separating two groups.
he drinks his beer.
and drinks his beer.
then slumps in his chair.
then falls back, dead.
at first no one at the table notices the man, because the sound of the chair isnt a crash and it isnt over emphasized. the man does not spill out of his chair, his backside remains in the chair, he has just fallen over.
when the first person notices, they do not make a big scene, they just look and are kinda curious. they do not leave their seat, they just kinda peer. they do not touch him, they do not call to him, they do not say anything to anyone else, they just peer/look.
the man is motionless.
more and more people are looking, but just like before, they are not saying anything. just looking
